Supervision Mission of The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) led by Mr Fida Muhammad IFAD’s Country Programme Officer along with Ms Sumaira Aly Country Programme Analyst and Mr Fazil Sardar Programme Manager National Poverty Graduation Programme (NPGP), visited VO Lakhi Akil Mahar of UC Wazeerabad and VO Budhal Fakeer of UC Lodrain in district Shikarpur.
During interactive community dialogue NPGP assets and IFL beneficiaries and CRPs shared their transformative stories of graduating their families out of poverty and presented the progress on poverty graduation made in their Villages as a result of receiving productive assets, training and interest-free loans funded by the Government of Pakistan and IFAD under NPGP.
The Mission commended the impact made by NPGP in this area and socioeconomic transformation in women’s lives and livelihood.
After the field visits, the delegation had a debriefing meeting with the SRSO management and exchanged their views on the Business Innovation and incubation System and appreciated the innovations and initiatives of SRSO in the enterprise development.
Meanwhile, on July 17, A progress review meeting was held in Head office Sukkur, where SRSO’s team led by Mr. Muhammad Dittal Kalhoro (CEO SRSO) presented NPGP’s progress made in Shikarpur & Kashmore to the Mission.
