This project, launched in December 2021, improved the livelihoods of individuals and their families and increased incomes.

Story of Vijay Kumar from Mirpurkhas-Our Entrepreneur

Vijay Kumar from Mirpurkhas has received 500,000 rupees from SRSO under the Sindh Government People’s Poverty Reduction Program (PPRP). Under the Enterprise Development Program (EDP), startups were provided Interest-free loans by SRSO in collaboration with Sindh Govt & IdeaGist. EDP was initiated to alleviate poverty in Sindh by creating small businesses. SRSO launched this project in Dec 2021, improving the livelihoods of individuals and their families and increasing incomes.

Success Story of Nooran Khatoon from Kashmore Kandhkot

SRSO reaching out to faraway rural communities with pro-poor initiatives including asset transfer. Productive assets reduce poverty and improve the #food and #nutrition of poor families. Story of Ms. Kastoori Remchand from Umerkot , Trained by SRSO

SRSO is Empowering rural women to support sustainable livelihoods”. Story of a determined lady of Umerkot, Mr. Kastoori Premchand. She lived in the village Laloo Kolhi of Taluka Samaro and district Umerkot. Kastoori is a graduate of the Dress designing training organized by Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) under the Govt. of Sindh-funded Peoples’ Poverty Reduction Program and is using her skills and craft to provide income to her family as well as other community members.

Sindh Agriculture Recovery Project

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s Sindh Agriculture Recovery Project represents $15 million in assistance to flood-affected Sindhi farmers for sowing sunflowers over 93,240 acres of otherwise unseeded land. SRSO has implemented this project in partnership with RSPN.

Vocational Training Program of SRSO

SRSO equips rural women with vocational and technical skills empowers them with knowledge and strengthens their socio-economic position through sustainable earning to overcome poverty. with the support of the Government of Sindh under the Poverty Reduction Program. SRSO’s mission is to educate and empower men and women with the skills needed for inclusion in today’s workforce, resultantly allowing them to take control of their own future. SRSO ensures practice and teaches employable skills in demand to unskilled rural communities across Sindh for employment and sustainable startups.

Component of Construction of Low-Cost House under the “Peoples’ Poverty Reduction Programme” in “Dunya Kamran Khan ke Sath” TV program of DUNYA TV. Sindh Rural Support Organization is constructing Low-Cost Houses for marginalized and homeless communities of rural Sindh with the financial support of the Government of Sindh under the “Peoples’ Poverty Reduction Programme”(PPRP). SRSO is implementing this GoS Funded program (PPRP) in six districts of the Sindh Province.
