Major Activities:
The project aims to enhance capacity and skills, create more opportunities, transfer income-generating assets, and improve the productivity of community members to reduce their vulnerability to shocks, improve their livelihood initiatives, and strengthen their business operations.
The project also intends to provide technical support and develop linkages at potential markets.
LEP also intends to support community members to build up their savings capacity and proficiency in funds management through promoting internal lending, with complementing these efforts through grants and technical support to increase assets, productivity, and incomes, through their joint ventures at a platform known as “Common Interest Group”, where they are organized having common interest to facilitate the pooling of resources and products for common gain.
Generation of livelihood means by distribution of assets among the poor to enable them to earn livelihood.
The poor and ultra-poor will be identified through the Poverty Score Card.
Livelihood Investment Plan (LIP) to be filled to identify, analyze, and prioritize Ultra, Vulnerable and Poor.
