Covering Districts: Ā (9) Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirababd, Naushahro Feroz, Khairpur, Kamber-Shadadkot, Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, and Ghotki.
Project Objective/s:
SFERP Component 2 Livelihoods Restoration aims to conduct a public works program across the most affected districts of Sindh in the 2022 floods, in the first phase of six months (June 2023 onwards). The initial phase of the program will focus on the 14 most impacted districts.Ā The works will operate on the concept of a ādouble dividendā, where the āfirst dividendā is improved village-level physical infrastructure; and the āsecond dividendā is income generation for the flood affecters in the villages (40% of whom will be from vulnerable groups). The twin objectives of the works are:
Social Mobilization Partners (SMPs) serving as implementing agencies for the program are SRSO, NRSP, and TRDP. A consistent operational strategy will be followed by all SMPs while operating in each of their target districts.
Major Activities:
Cash For Work Activities 700 to each labor daily wages total 25 days working days by the labor 17500 grants to be paid to labors.
